Hi, my name is Jason Galea, and I’m the founder and Head of Training, Learning & Development at TravelCoursePRO.  I hope you’re enjoying viewing this site and getting excited.

 

A bit about me and my credentials - so you’re confident enrolling in one of our courses. Every travel provider should provide this.

My travel knowledge and expertise in the travel industry spans 32 years in both corporate 

and leisure travel.  

 

I have trained consultants across all different types of skill levels, from novices to experienced travel staff, and everyone in between.

 

A fully qualified travel trainer and travel agent with over 32 years of experience in the field, I’ve drawn from all my past experiences and from different types of clients across many travel sectors. Over the years, as a travel professional, I’ve gathered information about all the vital things that were questioned and raised by clients throughout my career. This has served me well. I’ve done the hard yards in the agency and gone through all the highs and lows. I can teach you how to get through it.

So you can learn from me and my experiences. My knowledge of travel has been paramount to the development of Travel Course PRO™ by PNR Agent.

Being a travel consultant for so many years and across 3 decades, I drew on this experience to develop a travel course about what people asked me most about travel.  

 

TCP™ is developed for any type of travel consultant, leisure or business travel. The concept was developed over a number of years.

THE TRAVELLING

Travelling is, of course, one of my passions. It’s in my blood. I have travelled around the world on countless occasions and have visited almost 40 countries across 5 continents

 

I’ve embarked on countless trips overseas and have stayed in places from budget to luxury, from unforgettable dumps to 5-star wonders. Have travelled independently and on extended tours - from easy travels to adventure travel. Family travel is also a speciality. 

 

I will share my travel experiences with you all, should you decide to do a travel course with us :)

THE WORK EXPERIENCE

Having worked for several travel companies over my travel career, from retail to corporate travel, the travel industry has served me well.

​

​My work history spans 32 years of travel industry experience, comprising a multitude of travel training and consultant client-focused, customer service roles. The positions during my career encompassed the following duties:

As a Senior Travel Consultant
(domestic & international) 

Diploma of Travel & Tourism qualified

• Travel Consultant to a variety of companies and leisure clients, servicing all their business travel needs.

• Strong focus on customer service to travellers, travel coordinators and travel bookers.

• High-level bookings and reservations for our clients, including VIP’s. These included flights, hotels, car rental, rail and transfers. 

• Ensuring travellers and travel bookers are adhering to the company travel policy.

 

As a Travel Trainer/Quality Coach
(domestic & international) 
Cert IV TAE Qualified

• Trainer & Quality Coach - training and supporting 100+ travel consultants across a network virtually, and face-to-face.

• Induction Support - extra support for all new hires during their induction for several weeks.

• Training Material - the development and writing of travel training materials.

• Offshore training - successfully trained offshore travel consultants in international locations. (also travelled to these locations to train them)

• Mentor - a mentor to many consultants across the company.

• Virtual - virtual support, learning, and coaching.
